Never use dixcel brake pads!!!

Just went to trackday 2 weeks ago with the dixcel type m brake pads. Not happy with it at all...:(
finished all the pads within the first 2 sessions and i was not even trying to pull a time attack...

3rd session i almost went to the wall...
Friends was telling me that there were excessive smoke came out of the brake everytime i brake...

So to all the euro driver out there, listen up!!!

Do not use dixcel brake pads if u still want to have ur car with u at the end of the day!!!!!

That means you were riding the brakes too much. Brakes should be used almost full on without locking or totally off on the track, never halfway.

What was your time? At Winton?

I was using it on track with my OEM rotors
It feels great and last me for whole open track day in wakefield park
after that I ve changed to slotted rotors
its even better

is that because I don't know how to brake?

I would like to clarify that Type M pads from dixcel is for street sport, its not for circuit/racing. But Oscarb and I have the M pads in our car and its doing fine in wakefield. Maybe there are things need to be found out to know whats happening with the pads there.

i used these for one month, there pretty awsome on wrx,i go to sprinbrooke mountain and drive spiritedly quite often, i only changed them because i got a whole new brake setup.

I suspect the pads weren't bed in properly before use. If there's something wrong with Dixcel, I'm sure there would be many complaints by now.
