J swap

What do you guys think about J swaps and is anybody on here looking to do one or know of one in Australia ?

From what i have read similar to k swap, the engines are cheaper but you need to cut big hole in your bonnet. but they make good power and are into the mid to low 12's in eg and ek's. Hasport already ha mount kit out here's the link:

I'd love to but i havent got the cash for a track only car. I would be getting pulled over all the time on the street with half the motor sticking out of the bonnet. But i cant wait to see what sort of power they will be making when built because its already makin 264hp / 231 lb/ft stock. I know its a v6 but an eg with good driver and slicks it would be in the 11s!

Stock k24a3 internals on EG hatch can run 11s with the right car set up and slicks.

the engine sticks out like this is illegal, but what about custom made thicker bonnet, if u know what i mean.

Cut and weld a XR8 bonnet bulge to the existing bonnet.

Well in a dc2 in america they've managed to have the bonnet close with just the skeleton of the bonnet cut out I believe.
