This is my 2000 Ek1 with a D16Y4

Its got a ram pod, extractors and a 1.5 inch mandrel bend exhaust.

Future mods - have a turbo kit for it.

All up I think it'll be around 1000 bucks fitted. I know I could put a bigger faster engine in there but I like the challenge of getting power out of a smaller motor.

I understand.I was on d-series.org for a year before I came here and that's the name of the game there!! Truely inspiring stuff on a budget!

If I can get it over 100kws I'll be happy for a while lol. The MSD system is on its way my supplier managed to pick me up a Honda Power cap so I can still use the stock coil and distributor cap. As for the turbo kit it appears to be a backyarder, there is a few bits and pieces that I'll probably discard but most of it seems to be in decent shape, the turbo is a T04L not a huge snail should spool up very quickly which is what I'm looking for.

770 for the cap and the spark amplifier. Should be fitted by next Tuesday then I'll move onto the next mod, which maybe a port and polish.

Well the MSD Igniton is in I'm still waiting on the power cap as my supplier orded the wrong one >.<

Feels like it has a bit more pull now and revs out much more freely.

SMOOOOOOOTH Mmmmmmmm :)

Just watch if you have ignition problems,it may be the MSD box,it happens...

MS where's the spark d they are known as in some circles.

It's just good to know but I love mine!!

Haha,forsure! It's relieving to hear that.It's a great system!

I saw big v8's running them at the track running it.

I'm running NGK iridiums and I reckon the msd system wore the plug tips.Stock the gap is 1.1mm,I was running 1.3 then 1.5.Anyways,I started having misfire problems, checked the gap and it was 2.1mm!! Damn.I re-gapped them and it runs like a dream. So mlesson learned was to check the plug gaps when running the msd system.

Aparently the cap is specially made by MSD for the Honda drag cars they use over in the states. Utilizes the stock internal coils aswell.

All I wanted was a half decent stereo and some decent looking wheels... now I'm gonna bomb the **** out of it give the local SS Bogandore's something to think about.
