EK is chassis number
DX LX EX HX CX is USDM (US domestic) market trim.

Australia had CXi, GLi, VTi, VTi-R.
For sedan 96, only GLi and VTi

It would really depend on what the item is and what model of car it came from.

Your car is a Ek1 Sedan Facelifted.

All CX, DX, and LX models used the D16Y7
The HX had the D16Y5
EX had the D16Y8.
The Si used the B16A2.

AUDM: Gli had the D16y4
Vti had the D16y5

the CX and HX isnt a sedan, ther hatches. Si (USDM) was a coupe

oh, and I was just looking at some items which had the US models instead of AU, so I wasn't really sure which would fit my car.
