if you've bought a hid kit with a slim balast, inside the headlight housing itself, otherwise you will have to drill into the headlight housing or backing cover to pass the wires through as the FN2 headlight cable routing is all internal within the headlight housing.

mmm sounds harder than previously installing on my dc5R, is there photos or diagram on the net to give me some genral direction on where to start?

my mate wit a FN2 bought a set of HID off ebay and after he installed it, whenever his car is turned on and then he switches the HID on, the car just dies/stalls... it happened due to the poor quality of the ballast which used up extra power from the ECU... it was fixed by gettin a better set of HIDs... thought i would post it up seeing many ppl wants to do HID conversion...

there is not much room to install the ballast on the fn2, best to go with slim ballast.

IMO the best option is to remove the bumper and mount the Ballast under the headlights... The engine bay has few if any mounting options, the end result otherwise will not look stock.

Please make sure these are fitted CORRECTLY.

A friend of mine had his fitted (apparently to specifications); and now has his RHF headlight with heavy condensation.

Be kind to the Civics people.
