any1 no how to change an eg rear springs

1. Jack up the car
2. Take off the rear wheels
3. Rip out the strut by removing the bolt that holds it to the lower control arm, then the two bolts at the top that hold it to the body.
4. Compress the spring using a spring compressor
5. Undo the bolt at the top of the strut
6. Swap the springs

Install in reverse of removal

it's not easy... compressing springs takes a while if you don't have a decent compressor

if u dont have a compressor and u take the top hat off, say hi to a falcon in the face by ur springs
no joke either.
get compressors
or atleast prepare
and i dont care howmacho u are with muscles, ur gonna get falconed if u look at it while doing it which is usually the case (s tanding on top taking off the top hat looking down)

^^^yeah your right, one time i tried to dodgy it coz couldn't be stuffed compressing. didn't realise how much captive force is on the oem springs, my top hat flew across the street!
