was wondering what kinda of costs am i looking at, and if anyone knows where i can get it done cheap, looking to get my hood and boot lid aswell (bb6)
also another thing, when they weld it, do they have to respray the whole hood? or can they just do a lil section and blend it in with the rest of the paint (my cars black).

when i wanted to remove a spoiler off a civic sedan, i got quoted $600-700, should be cheaper for less welds. but yes they have to respray the whole thing.

It cost me $200 to have the 2 rear badge holes fixed. They blended the paint,so no need to paint the whole boot. This is in QLD :)

Bog will sink after a while so it is not a good idea.
I had a quote for my spoiler holes + badge holes in my boot + badge holes in front bar welded/filled/sprayed for $350.

you can put rubber grommets in if you need a temporary fix. I did this on my dc4 the block the spoiler holes so water didn't get in. works a treat

That's what I'm using,1 year and all good!
U can't even notice on my EK1 Sedan from the back cause it lips up,hiding it.You have to be above it to see it,so I don't even notice they are there.

Most likely they will want to respray the whole front which is why the cost will be so high.

It's best to 'find out' who is using great paints and does great work, they are out there and there's also some who still use cheaper paints and don't do such a good job of matching the colour's.I have both of these examples on my car!! Annoying now that I claybared and had the clear coat buffed. It shows more haha but only in direct sunlight.
