CL9 Chasing these rims

My old man is after these rims. I would post in the wanted to buy section but I can't. stole this from photobucket to show which wheels I'm after.

No help to you - but those are the rims i want BADLY for when we get a Euro :D

Most of the rides i have seen/inspected havet the 'other' 17's though :(

Was this a year specific thing? Most of the rides i have seen these rims on are 05 Luxos whereas most 06's Ive seen have the 9 spoke rims???

yeah I have them on my euro and dad wants them to on his and I won't give mine up haha.

The MY06- had different rims. imo these are the best factory rims the euro came with

i think its 03-05 luxury and the 06 sport that came with those rims


06+ luxury just had the 9 spoke rims

Only 2005 lux and sport 2006 had them

I wanted them before I got my euro too. On ebay, there is a seller selling them....tho, some of them have heapsa gutter rash. Last week some went with decent rubber for 800. Lastime rims only were 600. U just gotta keep a lookout.

i think thats a fairly decent price.
especially coming with tread.

not a lot of after market 17"s that would look decent for that price with tread

I can get 17's because I work in the trade fairly cheap. So brand new rims vs second hand for a smilar price. Other option is I buy some bigger rims for mine and sell dad my honda 17's

They're pretty popular (I'm after a set too lol). Looking to powdercoat/spray them gunmetal :) Just watch the FS section on here and on eBay. FYI, TopTen tyres has a preowned set for $899 if you old man's keen (bit out of my price range).

Lighter too, esp if you go for a set of quality jap rims ($$). There's 2 things I don't like about the Euro rims - weight (~10kgs) and the offset (would prefer 40-ish).

the accord came with center caps that has honda badge,
so what did was i took the badge off and sprayed it with spray paint
closest colour i could get to the rim..you can hardly tell the difference
but because of the flash, it makes it look lighter

nice longers, but that could be the theme your going with light center caps.

Did you paint without tyres or did the lazy way of newspapering your tyres?

got some guy to do it...who turned out to be an ass
it was professionally powder coated, good job just a shit customer service
