I remember something that there's no LSD on the DC5s, true?

if true, can you get an aftermarket one installed? how much are we looking at?

thanks and sorry if repost, did a search and way too many results came up

Just get an LSD that fits in the DC5R, and that should fit your DC5S.

Are you going to be tracking the car or putting down some serious power?

Just so you know... It costs about $600-$1000 (Depending where you go) on LABOUR alone to change a clutch/flywheel on a DC5... so I can imagine labour on fitting a LSD is not going to be cheap (As you have to take the gearbox out, open the gearbox, fit the part, put the gearbox back together, put the gearbox back in).

Get a few quotes for getting a LSD fitted before you go ahead with getting it all done.

Yes, the S doesn't come with LSD, you can buy a 2nd hand DC5R LSD if you only have a limited budget, if aftermarket market LSD such as KAAZ, Cusco etc, cost you around $1000, plus you need installation.

If you going to increase your power in the near future, best to go with aftermarket lsd rather the R one.

To save money, better wait for your clutch worn, and do everything at the same time, same time and money for installation.
