Hey guys just hoped into my mates new S and got quite jelous.
his car felt smooth and soundless.
Everytime i shift it feels like there's play in the driveline, non tight gear changes.
Anyone ever had this problem?
And yes i have a problem with taking this car sideways so dont bother telling me its the way i drive it.

if it feels like backlash, it could be the clutch. worn crappy friction plate springs does this. pretty normal on an s2000.

KruZzn, your "air leak".. does it sound like alot of air is getting in the car but you cant feel it? if that makes sense? Mine is alot louder then when i first had it :S i tried tightening the clips but their tight as they get lol.

yeah man it sounds like a tornado lol but you cant feel it unless you stick your fingers inside the roof gap or push your fingers against the soft top.

I kind of fixed it... but still has less that half a cm showing when i've closed it shut and my strikers are a little less than half a cm worn out so i assume its that.

youd need serious power to chirp slicks/semis on an s2k. power which an s2k cant handle imo

The S02 are good, that's it just good :)
Jap, I think the RE050 are alright, too much hype over them however.
But in the rain they are awsome!!

well yeah i only get s-02's on my stockies anyway lol.. i have hankook s1's on my rims though. and honestly i think the s1's are one of the best tyres i've had in the wet.

Not sure, but the RE040's weren't to bad in the wet either, but i guess i believed the hype that they were awesome, i personally thought they were average. The rear slide around alot, controlable but seemed to excessive for 245's. Not sure whether the fact it had standard suspension may have played a part.
