you can tilt it to get it off without removing the engine

Heres a few things you will need to do as i just removed mine from my EG and i have a fresh memory:

Remove the shift linkage or remove the Gear shifter from the shifter bar
Remove Front left lower control arm and lower coilover bolts so you have movability when trying to get the box out later
Remove Starter motor (2 x 12mm bolts)
Remove gearbox bolts, if i can remember theres around 12-14 and they are 17mm i think
unbolt left Torque Engine Mount, unbolt Left Main engine mount and Unbolt rear torque mount (behind under the Intake mani)
Remove Hydrolic clutch cable setup.
unplug VSS sensor wiring which is plugged into the box and any other wiring

There might be a couple other things but i think thats most of it. And if you have a crane or something to winch it down that would be good. Or if there is two of you and a spair jack that will do.
