Was the spark plug missing? :p

Looks like water has been trapped under the lead and caused abit of corrosion in the lead tunnel.

That looks like corrosion dude. You know how when you dont put grease on your battery terminals it creates Corrosion? Well i would say this is the same thing.

Usually happens on battery because the vent fumes and corrode the metal around it. Not to sure if this is the case but either way it looks like corrosion and the best way to take it off is very hot water and ive heard of people using vinegar. To keep it from staying away apply a thin layer of grease or vaseline if you dont have grease at home.

Ohh you know what it also looks like...the corrosion from your radiator fluids, i dont know how it could have got in there. Could just be water thats been sitting in there for a while if someone cleanned the motor but if that were the case usually one of the plugs will missfire occasionally.

The wrecker did clean the motor with a hose before he gave it to us. The vomit like stuff can be cleaned off its not corroded into the metal. So the bottom end should be good?

ohh hopefully the water didnt leek into the block...i highly doubt it would have. But otherwise the block should be fine.

I figure the engine isnt in a car? or run yet?
