Hi guys
Recently i get my front grill and the front lip re-spray with metalic yellow color. It look perfect under sunlight but when i look at it under fluorescent light, the re-spray part look a bit darker color. i ask the painter, he told me it's because it depend on the rate the metalic paint dry and it's the best they can do.
My question is that true it's very hard to re-spray the part as the original metalic colour? or unless i re-spray the whole car?

Thanks a lot.

I would've thought that it wouldn't be that bad, just depends if they can be bothered? I'm no expert though. Where did you go to get it done?

My mechanist sent it to a paint shop done it for me,so i don't know where it was done. i do know it was done in a proper paint shop as my car is paint in a oven room.
They did paint it twice to get it right,so i'm thinking is it too hard to get the same color under fluorescent light? The fact is it look same color under natural light.

Oh well if it looks the same colour in natural light youll have no worries unless you come from a land of fluoresent lights now, right?

is that mean even if i go to another paint shop to get it done again, the result will still be same?
