hey guys just wondering if anyone has shaved their number plate bracket thingy ??
cuz i am plannin to go usdm styles and shave my number plate bit ...
so it cal look vertex HAH
i've already figured out how to do it ...
but just wondering if theres anyone on this forum who has succeeded in doing so ... ?
i wouldnt mind checkin out some pics ...

any help or feedback would be sweeeet.:thumbsup:

yep i have.. You mean those 2 holes for number plate?? I sanded mine down and putty it. result's shat.. give it 5 months, and u'll see a crack

ur meant to plastic weld it ...
before putty ...
therefore the putty will not sink back .

got any pics ?
of wat happend ?

LOL ..
i didnt do that..
i pretty much use a sand paper to get rid of the 2 bumps..
then got a masking tape and stick it from behind and start putty-ing it..

Of the crack.. not really... it was just a 1/2mm crack..

**** yeah, hot civic :) Thats an EK, not sure what year specifically but 96-98 (Pre facelift)

Here's mine.. it's the 2nd bar i've had shaved.. looks like mine was done in the masking tape method but it's been there 6-7 years with no cracks as yet.. the REST of the bumper is covered in cracks but not the plate-holes that were shaved..

the BEST way to do it IS to plastic-weld the holes THEN fill them...
