hi all,
so i fitted my p1s onto my car, but even with 235 tyres slightly stretch im getting scrubbage over rough terrain and around corners. my guards are already rolled as well. wheel specs are 9" x 18 +48 (guesstimate).
my question is how much neg camber can i get out of the standard suspension setup on the rears. the fronts are fine but i feel i need a few more degrees neg camber to clear the clips on the rear. car is also lowered on springs but retaining the standard shocks.
also does anyone know if hannys is able to do this or would i need to see a suspension specialist?
thanks,
John

It's simple to adjust rear suspension for toe and camber. And judging by your ride height you should be able to achieve about -4 Deg camber. However it's pointless without a machine, as your car will more than likely track or wander in the rear, thus flogging your tyres out. But you should attempt to bend the rear tabs up if they haven't been done. If there already done then possibly take it to a panel shop to sort out.

ah awesome you are an info godsend!
will try bending the tabs up first, if not then more neg camber here i come!

Dialing in camber will help too, but it always comes at the cost of flogging out rear tyres.

makes sense, i may need to see a suspension guy anyway, im pretty sure im running more neg camber on the left hand rear than the right, going off the wear on my old tyres.
ill let you know about the gramlights. they are off the car atm. however the p1s are alot heavier so im undecided as to which im going to keep

They sure are lighter and stronger too. I use to have P1's on my old S2K and bought gramlights for it. I too was suprised how much lighter they were. Guess you can't go past RAYS rims for light weight.

lol change of heart, goign to keep the gramlights and sell the p1s. i think once my system is in coupled with the p1s the car may be too heavy for my liking.

Remember toe is the most important. For a standard S2000, the rear toe has a total toe of +6mm. Vehicles unlike what most people think can steer from the rear and if the rear isn't set out correctly, the rear can steer the car just by the way the toe is.
If you are always driving on cambered roads (most roads are as they need it to get rid of water) the front left wheel requires a slightly more caster but still keeping the camber and toe to standard specs so to prevent pulling to the left.
