One of the best choices of rims on a commodore I've ever seen.

Taking inspiration from the 'Civette' for a LS1 Civic?
Good Luck.

Cheers guys,

I have decided to keep the ute and pickup a Civic as a daily/fun car
i love the ute but now that its Stalled up and running 3.7's diff it eats like 20L/100kms

i have seen some very clean civics at the creek running some pretty good numbers,

my issue is traction, i ran street tyres and kept skidding down the track, when i got some grip i ran 12.7 with a 1.9 60ft

lol v8s

im sorry but i am not a Holden fan.. just my oppionion.
But ur ute looks likes everyone elses who drives a ute..
oh and ur user name.. H8VTEC why dont you want a Honda if you H8VTEC?
I think you would like a eg civic with a k24 conversion.. power to weight ratio will be amazing..
or if the eg's are too old get an ep3, if you want u can turbo that..

once again its just what i think..
oh and welcome

everyone is entitled to an opinion

but one thing
the hondas in your display pic look like every civic ive ever seen. so i think its all relative.

and to be honest i have to try keep the exterior low key, because it rocks and shakes at the lights and sounds like theres no tomorrow

as for the username, well yeah i thought VTEC was rather Funny, Why wait till 5000rpm for power when a V8 has it from ignition lol

but yeah im expanding my palett a little, try out something a little different. im happy to take you for a drive and show you what 654nm of torque feels like...

oh and quickly

when you guys to engine swaps, do you remap the factory PCM or run a new one, or run an interceptor unit?

Dude you dont have to prove to me what ur V8 can do..i know they are quick. my brothers mate has a VE SS and it pulls. BUT it is extreamly heavey and my stock DC5 can smoke him for the frist few gears untill he finaly gets going.
I like the fact ur willing to try something different.
and yeah my civic was like the rest of the ones you see but i sold it last week.. :( will be missed.

hey, welcome, awesome ute.

but i hav to ask, are u here seriously to get honda info, or just to show off ur ute.

most ur comments seem like u couldnt live with a small capacity, high revs motor.

oh and how much did ur rims cost, they look like the ones i wanna get :p

H8VTEC
19-05-2009, 12:17 PM
Thanks Mate
Yeah i am actually here for honda info lol, i actaully used to work with your member "Penguin"

The Rims i bought are a temporary measure as my good Rims which are Breyton - "Imagine" (Bmw Wheels from germany) got slammed on parra road, They are worth 4K American :-O

i paid $2100 but am looking to sell them very soon for very cheap, like sub $800

The style is Starcorp racing the style is "Challenge" They are a mock up of BBS Wheels i think

G'Day Angelo,

I guess it depends on what you want from your new 4 banger.

Some guys/gals with K20 swapped EG's are pulling into the 12's, with bolt on mods. In saying that a K20 conversion isn't cheap!

Welcome to OH and nice SS.
