I'm pretty sure the shifter is differnt. Its a much shorter throw then an EG or a VTIR.

Can't be sure on the shift rod/stabalizer bar though.

The guys on honda-tech should know though. The majority of their del sols come with D series engines. So if you seem someone with a del sol and a B series engine you should fire them a PM.

Why is it an upgrade anyway?? I think upgrading the bushes would be a better idea. All it is is a metal bar. its not like you can make it stronger for any needed reason. unless you just wanna have the wank of having another ITR part.

ye thanks guys i found out they are different.

The reason i wanted to change is because the previous owner put some shit "hectic" short shifter... It feels very rough/ short and its not pleasant to drive with...

Ive been driving an eg with an ITR swap and it has itr linkages also.. shifting on that is absolutely perfect.. so i thought if they would fit why not..

Ill probably just change the bushings as thats most likely what it is because a "short" shifter shouldnt feel like a "shit" shifter...

just change back to OEM shifter and run some new bushes of some sort. i rock energy suspension and its nice and direct. Can feel everything happening in the box.

sorry to hi-jack, but is there a difference between b18c7/r itr shift linkage to the b18c2/b16(vti-r) shift linkage or is it identical/interchangable.
they seems to be a noticable price difference between the two, is it just the wank factor of being a part from the itr?

^^^^ going with that would would dc2r ones fit in an eg b16a

AFAIK they do but the del sol must be different. Probably a different position for the shifter.
