Hi everyone,
been on the forum for around a year or so now, and never bothered to post here,
bought a red eg a while back, when i had just got my p's at a time where i couldnt give a shit about a car as long as it looked alright and didnt break on me, hence i bought an automatic honda eg.

since then things have changed and ive learnt heaps, mostly thanks to ozhonda! and the friendly people and advice that many of you have offered (benjamin especially)! like learning how to drive a manual car, how suspension works, tyres, engine in general, and so much more!

and since then, ive done a manual conversion, added bits , sold bits, and recently put some fat fives on the car! eventually, hopefully ill be making a replica eg6 with oem parts and keeping it reasonably stock eg6 jdm spec, but who knows what will happen from there!

currently has dc2r suspension, and i think thats about it as i sold everything else to get the eg6 stuff thats on its way/slowly piling up!

and before everyone says stuff like " spoon mirrors, mugen lip ! "
all i can say is, been there done that, and dontl ike it that much,
got a eg6 lip sitting in the lounge, looking for red mirrors again, and yea, as i said! trying to build an eg6 in time.

look forward to the future to learn more and hopefully contributing as well

That story is too familiar. I wasn't planning on modding my EG at all. It was supposed to save me money until I got off P plate restrictions! I failed.

Looks like you've done pretty well. Good luck with your build.

Nice story there mate. The gold fat fives look good on your civic.. nice choice.
Im with you in the'' omfg pay 100000 dollars for mugen spoon stuffzzz''... I like the clean oem look of a car with a few modest mods but nuthen too rice.. similar styles I think

Good luck with your future endevours on the eg

wasnt expensive, but, having said that its because i sourced the parts myself, with a little bit of luck, and a great mechanic who probably under charges me!

the most expensive part was a hasport monut, because the auto chassis is differnt to the manual, and i only need 1 mount and couldnt seem to source one out for cheap , it was $266
parts all up hmm
<$150 i guess, and $70 was from a wrecker, the rest was from good trades and slow sourcing, keep in mind with an eg, everyones doing b and k series conversions, thats y d series stuff stays cheap ! im stuck on d right now still.

thanks for the nice comments,
well other than what you see its more or less stock on the outside!
inside has eg6 cluster, eg6 coin pocket, some tacky seat covers that i still use because my seats are in mint condition, and just a basic sound system !
planning to color code the mirrors and the side strip for exterior mods, and could use a respray on the roof and a ding here and there, but other than that as i said, stock as !
even got its little pee shooter at the back that looks abit funny compartiveily to having the gold /bronze rims!

any suggestions? just looking for something bigger, power would be nice but not fussed, and not too loud if at all !
