after hoping into my mates dc2r i noticed that in my dc2r my shifter wobbles a lot... i mean when i put it into gear i can move the gear stick a lot... does this mean my shifter bushing is wore out???

Chances are yes mate, best way is to hop under the car and check out your shift linkages, won't be to hard to spot ;)

is there much to remove just to change the shifter bushings?

Not much to it in reguards to replacing the bushings. People purchase the energy suspension shifter bush kit, 1 bush that sits underneath the shifter while the other at the end of the shift linkage where it sits on the box (this one might take slightly longer).

Also keep in mind that the shifter design is a linkage and not a cable. Linkages tend to have play no matter how new or old your bushings are and dont feel as 'firm' or 'direct' as a cable shifter like in the K series.

Just for reference i just bought all of the honda bushing for the whole shift linkage, collars and shims, and i think it all came to $140. Im still waiting from some parts from overseas and its been over 2 months lol.

Yeah something about genuine - maybe its the smell? lol jks. But i just wanted it to be nice and brand new again. not that it was bad at all to begin with...
