hey guys .. i know that ASR is best product in the market for reinforcement kits, but then there's a cheaper alternative which is Beaks.

Anyone use this on EG's and have any torn out subframes ? i know that Ek's have a weaker subframe too.

was looking into buying a Beaks kit with ITR 22mm Sway bar for my eg.

neeeddd helppp whether it would be enough for daily driving , abit of National Park i guess , with stock shocks with aftermarket Springs.

cheers guys :)

Ive heard it's ok to use.
I was going to get one for my dc2 but I opted for another option.

Personally i'd prefer to be safe then sorry.

Have look on the American forums and see what they say.
If you are only daily driving, the swaybar won't be used to its potential, and is unnecessary in my opinion. I took mine off.

nope they hang too low and get hit alot especially on low cars.
Dupac (told ya so!) ripped his rear subframe when his beaks hit something on the road. ;)

ASR brace is the way to go, a subframe fix cost more than the buying an ASR

Technically the tiebar is not part of the Subframe Reinforcement Kit (SRK).

yes, but just saying it isn't part of the kit, it isn't really a reason to discredit the SRK.

In this and your other thread, most people have suggested the ASR kit. You seem to disregard those suggestions and want to go with another option so now its up to you to lay out some cash.

Its fine. If you are thinking of buying that $40 kit from yonas... go for it. yonas ran this on his eg before with his swaybar...

Works a treat...

- Beaks kit is function.
- ASR is function and form

I've had Beaks for a few years now with 23mm sway bar and no probs. I also have Tie bar fitted. DC has pretty much identical subframe to EG.

Yes the Beaks swaybar kit is  It is good value for money on the EG/DC subframes. I would recommend running any aftermarket lower tie bar to stiffen the movement of the lower control arms with this application.

We ran them on our EG for circuit duty for a year or so
Never had problems.
