just bought a new set of buddyclub rims(15x7.0) , just wondering whether the original civic wheel nuts would fit on my buddyclub rims?

the people who put the tyres on my rims said they would not suggest me to put them on coz the original nuts are bowled seat, and i the aftermarket rims needs straight tapered seat nuts. otherwise the wheels would come out when u are driving. And i just not sure whether he is right or not.

i recomend you should get aftermarket lugnuts/locknuts. Some nuts dont fit into the "holes" and even if it is attached, it may not grip in properly. Just get lock nuts. They're $20 - $50 from autobarn?

That guy is right... get the right lug nut for your rim. usually it's the 60 degree tappered. The traders here sell those nuts.

Aftermarket rims use 'tapered' seats. Oem uses 'ball' seats. Use tapered nuts for you buddyclub rims.

so just to clarify...if we use tapered nuts for buddyclub rims do we still have to buy extended wheels studs or not?

Its not weather its tapered or ball type seat. Its the material the nut is made out of. If using a tuner type nut / alloy type nut, then I would seriously look at getting extended studs.
