i recently noticed a tick noise coming from the front right wheel. it's not a constant ticking, generally when i accelerate from a standing start or turn from a standing start.
it drives fine, it just makes a tick every so often. The most recent thing i've done to the car is put 20's on there.
any idea's of what it could be... ? i've got BC N+ coilovers..

What year is your car?If it's an earlier model or you have high kms.it could be a c/v joint.Drive on full lock in both directions and see if you can replicate the ticking noise. If it ticks on the right side only that'd indicate its most likely a c/v joint.Otherwise check the guard on the brake disc.It maybe scraping a bit.If so just bend it away from the disc.

crunkman, it doesn't tick on every rotation of the tyre...

but when it ticks does it do it for a few rotations? do you find turning the wheel to the left or right then moving slowly it ticks more than the other side?

crunkman, u were right, the driveshaft was loose. Took it to hanny's and he fixed it in 5 mins... he just had to tighten it. Was so happy afterwards as i didnt have to replace any parts and he didnt charge me a thing for the quick fix

What did he tighten? The nut securing the hub to the drive shaft?

Because I want to do it on mine as well to see if it fixes the vibration issue I have.

A little bit I reckon. But it is very subtle and only at 100-110km/h.
