paint stripper on rocker cover??

just wondering if i can use paint stripper on an aluminium rocker cover? lemme know thanks

I did, worked a treat.

old paint creased up right away, left the stripper there for 5 mins and hosed the lot off, did even need to use a scrapper to lift paint off.

yep, it worked really well thanks guys. just thought i better double check that it wouldnt be corrosive to the alloy was all. hopefully dont screw up the spray job now..
