Hey guys,
Just out of curiosity, how would this go in fitting to our cu2's? Anyone had this experience or knows if it is compatible with our model.

on a further note, has anyone removed their intake resonator. Heard about this on the yank forums.

Removing intake resonator is easy, cheap and you'll probably notice an improvement.
Try it :D

No drawback, except louder induction noise. Response will improve, should notice more power.
No warning sign will come on.

felixd, is your car a CU2 or CL9? There should be no difference between auto and manual, but CU2 has an air flow meter, which is sensitive to pipe diameter change.

Yeah, watch out for that little black box that is on the intake ar next to the airbox. That air flow meter is very sensitive and is easy to fck up if you accidentally knock it on the side of the intake arm when removing/installing it.

Anyone can do it. Just be careful not to touch the sensor. :)

if I change to SRI or CAI, will I create problems with the sensor?

As long as you meet the following criteria:
1) Intake arm diameter at the air flow sensor section is the same as the aftermarket CAI/SRI diameter
2) You don't knock or touch the sensor when transferring it from your stock intake arm to the CAI/SRI intake pipe.
3) You don't have air leaks.

i suggest to shift out the intake sensor last cuz the CU2 have the A/F sensor on the top of the lid

I think he meant to say MAF Sensor...
as shown in TAKEDA instruction to install the CAI here: http://takedausa.com/media/pdf/06-80288%20TA-1002P%20Acura%20TSX%2008-09%20L4-2.4L.pdf
