ek9 climate control into ek1

hey just wondering if u guys noe how i can get this fitted?

im pretty sure this isnt plug and play into my ek1 so how would i fit this?
and what is needed to fit it would b heaps helpful too:thumbsup:

Im pretty sure that panel is the only plug and play item , you will need the ek9 climate controls, as well as the harness, Im not certain if that harness will plug into your ek1 one.

that panel will go directly into your EK1 but you will need the EK9 climate control
and possibly harness, being a EK1 you probly wont have electronic climate control
you will have manual sliders? which means more and more stuffs

ok fark i just tried fitting it but it doesnt go straight in
as the vents of the ek9 climate control is on the left hand side FOOK
but the ek1 vents are in the centre
FAILED!

cause the EK9 has dial controls for the climate control, where we have the slider at the btoom in the middle.
step 1, actualy GET the climate control unit lol

if u want that to fit.... u basiclly need the whole dash from the ek9 including wiring for the hot and cold air wont work wif au spec

had pics of how to convert the 96-98 to 99-00 spec :)

alot to do for a novice imho, lol, I hate electrical stuff tho so maybe you'll like doing the task lol :)

also xposed in his em1 build thread did the swap, think there's info in there as well

you could just buy that panel, get the switches off ebay and just have a dummy non working setup, as alot of ppl remove a/c during their builds anyhow, just a thought :)

yea, AUDM never got the interior facelift, all we got was the front of car/grill pretty much lol. A lot of JDM and USDM models got climate control with the facelift
