horn not working..

my horn on my civic isnt working what could be wrong?

aftermarket or standard wheel?

the most common thing that kills the horn (assuming all the wiring is perfect) is the sprung button/brush connected to the hub that contacts against the wheel.

This is a wear item because it constantly rubs against a plate on the wheel.

you can either replace this or pull the spring a bit to extend it out a bit further.

could also be a fuse or relay or the horn itself, last time i saw his car he had a standard steering wheel on

connectors loose inside the wheel
or rusty loose connectors at the horn
simple test is to touch the two connectors when u have the steering wheel off
should work
if it doesnt go from there
