be careful about fitment. alot of aftermarket bike fairings are made from abs plastic. i have bought some sets and found the fitting to be horrible.

id like to mention that i believe abs plastic is different to car bumpers, however they are more durable/flexible than fibreglass. i believe abs will still snap in half, where as car bumpers will simply crease when folded

if made right, ABS is a very good material after the PU (Poly-Urethane) material.

most car bumpers made out of ABS plastic. however, computers casing, calculator casing, most mobile phones casing are also made out of ABS plastic.

The difference is, in the grade of the ABS. most casings for electronic products are made to witdhstand impact (therefore, they r alot harder and prone to crack). whereas, car bumpers made to crumple to decrease the impact that is transferred to the cabin to protect the passengers.
