EM & EK coupe (VTiR/VTi) exhaust

I know the EM has the B16A2 DOHC and the VTi has the SOHC, therefore they'd have different headers, right. :thumbsup:
I'm just wondering whether the exhaust system from the cat-back is the same for both? As in the same shape/direction of piping? :confused:
I'd appreciate any comments. :thumbsup:

Yes the EM Vti-r has a B series Engine and the EJ(EK Style) Vti has a D series engine, so yes they they do have different headers. And Im pretty confident that catback they are the same design.

coz i'm trying to source a brand name bolt-on cat-back exhaust for my EM1 civic coupe which comes from USA and I'm having trouble getting one from there, since nearly every aftermarket part for the HONDA comes from Japan............therefore, can i get a JAP spec one to fit my car?

try to look for exhaust for the follwoing model they will fit em1 with small/no modification:

4 door eg9 (b16a)
4 door ek (b16a)
4 door integra type r (dc2)

I think the models are only available in japan/asia.

Civic coupes are known as Civic Si's in da US. ;)

Try DC Sports, Skunk 2 Racing, Strup and Thermal R&D, they are just some examples of other brands available in da US! :) :D

Go for a JDM DC2 ITR header
Cat Back - I know a wrecker who had one - Concord Spares had/have a Coupe VTiR with a cat back and a larger Whiteline rear stab bar and some other good gear....

the b-pipe is the same for EM1 and EK4 but the tip for the muffler is slightly longer for the EM1 (longer boot)
