How do i stop my exhaust buzzing?

On throttle under load my 95 accord exhaust has a loud buzzing, usually above 3 or 4 thousand revs. I have a 2.5in full exhaust with extractors, cannon and midpipe muffler. So what can i do to stop the buzzing!? Its embarrasing, its not your regular honda sound. I figured that the pipe size might be too large, i bought my car like this but im almost ready to go get a 2.25in system to stop it sounding so rubbish. Any advice welcome, thanks.

No it definately seems like its the resonation of the exhaust, its not a rubbing/vibrating buzz or anything like that.

Yeah 2.5in is too big for a f22b1 stock engine. 2.25 would sound far better.
As for the vibrating, it could be anything in ur exhaust really, your better off just letting some1 rev ur car and have a look at where its coming from. Could be an exhaust leak etc.

I have a similair issue.

I have a 2.25 exhaust with header, high flow cat, and resonator, the muffler however is just a generic one with a welded chrome tip.

It just buzzes at high revs, really anoyying ! I would assume its the cheap muffler, but before i spend the money i want to make sure.

yeah i guess it would be the muffler vtec_jet, although you have a resonator so that should stop it from buzzing?!

Is ur exhaust rubbing against anything?

Why don't u try some new HD bushes to steady ur exhaust. Rubber bushes quite commonly crack and turn to shit. Worth a go..... should be cheapest way to eliminate common vibration.

Size of it shouldn't really cause a buzzing noise. 2.25" is ideal but 2.5" is not overkill or anything. "VTEC Jet"s comment should reaffirm this.

I had a slight buzz when I had my DC2r w/ stock exhaust. I think it was from cracked bushes. Replaced whole exhaust and got HD bushes while I was at it and buzz disappeared.

It might be lack of resonator? I have this buzz too in my dc2r from 2500-3000.
