hi all,
just wanted to know whether we can get wheels painted (or however they are done) here in sydney in a hyperblack color. its like a black chrome.
it looks to be more complicated than a simple paint but im not sure.
heres an example of the color i want (the color of the spokes)

Looks more like shadow chrome to me (similar to what the housing is in the EK9 headlights) , you need to be careful also with pics like that, to me it looks slightly photoshopped inreguards to them changing the colour contrat + brightness.
If its a simple shadow chrome I cannot see why any paint shop would have problems matching it.

its not photoshopped the color of the wheel is like that. it is darker/lighter under different light.
thats actually the formula silver colour in the volk racing wheels. im not sure if its simply a spray on paint, or some kind of chrome plating etc

If you know the colour and the manufacturer that makes it, get as much info as possible and hand it over to a place that does specialise in wheel restoration / painting and see if they can match it.

that colour is called shadow chrome, i've got the same on my 18s". so i'm sure it can be done but i don't think its a simple spray procedure.

As others have said.. its a more of a metal polishing/machining procedure with special metals.. deffinately not a spray colour, unfortunately.
If your on a tight budget, try just getting the closest colour to the shadow chrome.. maybe even a bronze? and have a go wet sanding in between spraying the colours then clear coating.. you could get somewhat similar
