hi all, has anyone managed to fit the revised edition s12 twinloop muffler on an EG?

If so, share your experiences because I've been told by 3 different places that its not going to fit...

Not sure about this revised edition you speak of...but i have some kind of twin loop that will fit.
Rip out the muffler you have on the car atm and dummy the twinloop up there to check.
If you havn't bought it yet then maybe post up the dimentions for someone to be more helpful

ummm.. the S12 on an EG or DC (and most probably EK) will fit not very nicely I think because the tip is too long. But slightly off topic for future reference it will sit very nicely in a coupe shape such as an EM1 and try bring it to haks at performance exhaust. He's experienced in our cars with twinloops etc

yeh i got a twin loop in my EK and it just fit in there because i got a sway bar he had to modify the loop pipe to make it fit properly

you will need to shave off the tip.

It is very long and will not sit flush.. even on my teg

Yeah, im getting the tip brought back own by about 2 - 3 inches and looks like im going to have to rotate it because the offset isnt right? It's gonna be touch and go coz its already hitting my sway bar lol

Havn't had time (or money ) but im going to get quoted up for a stainless catback system and have the twinloop fitted at the same time. Going to see the guy on friday so it should be all done within the next 2 weeks...slow going...but I'll update with pics as soon as it's done.

Ok so i've had the twinloop held up under the car...turns out it fits but its very tight, doesnt line up properly, and bumps my swaybar.

so, im wondering if anyone can tell me if the s10 twinloop will fit on an EG?

The s12 is up for sale if anyone wants it...

My s10 fits perfectly, it's the revised version so shorter tip.

Wouldve been an improper welding job done by xforce inside the muffler I guess. So part of the baffle is loose and rattling. It makes rattling noises around 1500rpm. There should b a warranty offered but since I got it off a mate they won't allow.

But yeh, s10 fits perfectly. Shame the s12 can't go on.

s12 twinloop can ft an eg civic.... just make sure you take it to an exhaust shop that knows what they are doing...It will take some fiddling with to get it to sit coreectly and not hit anything but its been done... If they say they cant do it then i guess you should reconsider where your gonna get it fitted...

My cuzin has an s12 twinloop on his eg civic which has ITR Control arms which are bigger then standard and it doesnt have troubles...

yeh thats the problem, about 5 different places have sed that they cant do it. i have dc2r control arms but theyre not on the car yet...

Still, if i can find a good s10 for a good price, it will save me the hassle of all the extra 'fiddling'

When i owned an eg i had my s12 fitted (axleback) nicely, it was done by Hak at performance exhaust.
Very good job by him.
