Whats crackin,

I got a 94 Integra Gsi and lately when ive mainly been turning RIGHT with low revs and the engine under load, my car has been starting to chug like its not getting spark or getting starved of fuel?? no matter what the temp is, cold or warm. just recently ive started to realise thats it is now doing it when driving in straight line. Ive heard it could be the O2 sensor or ignition coils and all sorts of shit. anyone else had this problem??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

By the way i have installed a new fuel filter, plugs, leads and airfilter not that long ago when i done a service.

cheers,
Luc

Have you pressure washed the engine since? Check for any water in the tubes. Also sometimes,if your spark plug seals are leaking, the oil will sit in the tubes.

Maybe pull the plugs out and check if any cracks are on the ceramic part. They should be shown up as a grey to black line. That means they are arching to the tubes instead of the combustion chamber.

Possibly clean the points of contact in the distributer cap. If the oil seal inside the distributer is leaking oil into the housing then possibly the oil is effecting the spark at certain times. Unfortunately, to rectify this fully is to replace the distributer housing and with all the sensors in there (sold as a unit) can be costly. If you know someone in Japan then a OEM distributer assembly costs the same as the igniter unit here. Crazy, I know, but I knwo first hand as my old EG6 SiR half cut had a seized distributer.

Also possibly bad fuel. I've seen and experienced heaps of this problem.
