Increased PM quotas

Hi all,

Just a quick update to let you know that I have doubled the PM quota for both newcomers and members from 30 to 60 messages

I'm looking at increasing the image storage quotas too however need to finalise a few things first.

yeah kinda annoying aye, lol when i sell parts i have to wait like 5 minutes of pming then i get distracted lol then end up not doing work for the whole class lol~

i'll bring this up with the moderator team for you guys. please do not expect too much out of it however. i would assume that reducing the PM waiting time would be at the cost of something else for example, search times.

Was 90 seconds but as requested I've just dropped it down to 60.

$20 subscription gets 150 but $30 gets 300.

As for #2 Andy......supporters already have more than three times the normal members PM quota!

WOoohooO. Good stuff guys. Always thought 30 was a bit low aswell but I thought the point was to get people to pay subscription. Could this make the $20 subscription less appealing to some people seeing as it is now 60 -> 150, instead of the old 30 -> 150??? I guess the annoyance factor is still there with the new 60 quota but maybe it would be worth upping the $20 and $30 quotas?

I too find the wait between PMs (even @ 60s) and searches quite annoying but I do realise that there is often a trade off that needs to be made. But then again, I'm sure some people would pay a fee to override these features.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey wyn, just a note, can you please make it explicit that you get a 300 limit for the $30 as opposed to 150 for the $20 subscription? Its not clear here http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/payments.php

If id known that i would have gone $30 sub over $20 sub! I dont care about a 'donators forum', but the extra pm's would be nice.

anyway, hey win, ive seen on a few other forums, that they have a similiar "instant messaging" style pm.. any chance we could get that hear ? i think it looks alot neater than the current PM system

not too bad mate!... i have lots of pm.. and tried to answer as many pms as possible

but pms is not the best way to be honest as pms got deleted very often but they are popular cos they are easy and quick way to ask i suppose
