Not sure if this has been covered but as anyone noticed in certain lights the euros bootlid paint and the rear quarters don't exactly match, i thought at first that mine has been in an accident , but i see it on all the euro every color, it must be the type of material iim assuming

i think it would be the line of production from Honda . I had an 03 model it had different shades of pearl.

The type of material is a possibility. What your seeing is most likely because of the curves/angles of the panel when you look at both the boot lid and quarter the differant angles of light reflect from the paint differantly. You may find if you change to the opposite angle... the colour differance switches... which is simply metallic/pearl paint "playing tricks" on you :p OR a lack of even pigment adhesion which is critical with pearls/metallics (doubtful as most OEM finishes are applied by machine/computer).
If it's really getting to you, take a chip of each (inconspicious area) and take it down to your local Auto Paint store for a paint mix I.D :p

I'm not overly worried now, I was only paranoid when I suspected it had been resprayed :S , but I see its common so I'll let it be :P
