battery question

just a quick query...
if your battery dies and you get your car jump started does it effect anything with the car - for eg, does it effect ecu components, vtec conversion etc...

I'm quite sure jump-starting your car doesn't affect anything, including those things you mentioned in your post.

However if you were to disconnect your battery for a few moments (~5 minutes), you would reset your ecu.
