Heys:wave:,

i have a question, ive recently purchased a set of Watanabe rims and one of the rims colour has faded a bit. I would like to obtain the brand new look again but dont know what product to use, could you direct me to a product that will give the brand new look?

IMO the paint is just old.. you cant 'shine' old paint.. just respray takes 10 mins and is hell easy as per the DIY thread

Old paint can be made to look almost new. It just takes a lot of time and hard work. First clean them with dish wash soap to remove the dirt and oil. Then go to your car parts store and buy a can of polishing compound and some cleaning wax. Get some rags and put the wheels on the floor or a stable table. Then just follow the direction on the polishing compound and rub the old grime away. When they are nice and smooth and looking good follow up with some cleaning wax to restore the protection. If you can find or borrow an electric buffer it will make the job much easier and quicker.

would that me better than a new spray DIY job?

Watanabes FTW! Those are an absolute beauty! How much did you get them for? Are they 14's?

Is that a massive crack I see? Or just a chip in the paint? :S
