DIY: shaved mouldings

hey guyss im gonna be doing a diy on my car this wk jst wanted to kno has anyone done this before and maybe give me some tips? i have all the material and stuff ready jst waiting for a nice day

well I hear some guys suggest to weld up the holes where the clips are, reason being that bondo/body filler tends to dry up and crack if theres no immediate backing... so basically they say welding it up will last alot longer than just filling in holes with body filler.

take the side molds off
weld the holes
sand it down
spray it

if your not a welder you could always fibreglass the back of the hole(inside the door and rear quarter), then smooth it out with bog
