hi everyone. Took my ep3 to the creek a little while ago and ran a 14.9 it is completly stock. Just wondering wat times others have ran with stock ep3's as I have heard they should be quicker than 14.9.

yeah i would have thought so.
What '60 foot time & MPH do you have, it will help to indicate if its the car or you need more practice

hmm thought they would have been a bit quicker than that. But then I have no idea to be honest...I have never even been to the 1/4 mile :o

Nah should do better than that. Thats like the time of a DC2 Vti-r. Nepolian got something like 13.9 I think it is w/ just intake and catback but i'm not to sure. Someone else got 13.8 w/ just BC Condensor, Catback, Intake & Coilovers.

taken my car once to WSID. Best time out of 3 runs was 14.1
At the time had intake and catback exhaust. My car was wheelspinning like a bitch though

i actually think EP3 can do around 14.9, as my car is as fast as a EP3, and i only did 14.7. i think there is difference in terms of the track in perth and eastern state.
i have been seeing people getting 13.9 14.1 sec for a jdm b18c vtir EG.
but no matter how i tried, i only can get 14.7
someone in perth has a same engine, but with lsd, powerFC, 5 plug clutch, cold air intale, exhaust and header. he can only do 14.4 at best.
i have no ideas how people in eastern state do 13.9 to 14.1 for almost stock jdm b18c vtiR EG.

JDM b18c Vtir don't run 14.1 ... More like mid to high 14's
I think your mistaking with the type R's

Yup 13.8 @ 980kg b18c7 eg hatch no power mods.
Anyway back on topic anyone put a large amount of cash into a ep 3 and run ?or a major amount of weight reduction ?
