perhaps it would be helpful if you were more specific...what parts and location on the car are we talking about? do you have any pics of the bits your trying to join?

Yeah its me. um, its going on a grill part (the brackets) and a badge is going to be stuck on

its meant to come out like this, but as you can see, this pic has no brackets as its a genuine peice that has the badge already

im planning to do the same, but just with L brackets and the badge stuck on the bracket. but don't know whats the best way to get the brackets stuck on the bumper/grill part

If its brackets to hold your mesh, use fibreglass resin.

Any other brackets ill just do the same.

im not sure what you mean

the L brackets are going to be stuck on the silver/grey grill part (apart of the front bumer), and the a mugen badge is going to be stuck on the L bracket.

I just wanna know whats the best way to stick the metal bracket to the silver/grey grill part on the front bumper ( fibreglass )

so you say use fibreglass resin underneath the bracket and use that to attach it to the grill/ front bumper?

Araldite sounds perfect for what you need. I've used it for odd jobs around the house and various bits and pieces on my dad's car. I copied some info for you.. You can get it from Bunnings or probably any pther hardware.

Selleys Araldite Ultra Clear:

A strong and durable, fast setting two part epoxy adhesive that dries crystal clear making it ideal for areas where an invisible bond is required. Mixed product gels in 5 minutes. Initial bonding is achieved in 20 minutes with maximum bond strength after 16 hours. Weather and yellowing resistant. Shock resistant.
Features

* Araldite is stronger than other glues due to the chemical reaction of the two parts.
* Bonds a variety of surfaces
* Dries Crystal Clear so there's no visible evidence of repair
* Quick setting in 5 minutes
* No clamping necessary
* High water resistance
* Forms a rigid, durable bond
* Can be used for gap filling (Surfaces need not mate closely)
* Good chemical resistance
* Heat Resistant
* Doesn't yellow over time so is ideal for use on glassware

Hope it helps :thumbsup:

You can use glue or you can use fibreglass infill (fibreglass sheet and fibreglass resin) use blow dryer to dry it.

the only concern i have is if i was to take off the brackets, i dont want to leave and marks or rip off the paint

will double sided tape do the job? or would i need more?
