Hi All
just wondering if any of you guys have dual valve spring on your engines.

I'm currently contemplating putting them on my b16(boosted application), before i tune, but do you think its worth it? I know it will allow for less chance of valve float, but i 've been told that i may loose some power as they require slightly more power to lift.

most likely will not be revving over the normal 8k

what are your thoughts?

my thoughts are, dont the b16's already run dual springs from the factory?

Most aftermarket performance valve springs are all Dual already - Even the Stock ITR ones are dual. What else is there to think about?

Just do it....Its not like you will lose .5 of a kw

LOL

dont forget the intake is working harder than the exhaust side.

u really have to spec up your motor & then dance the fine line between adverse valve effects & overloading your valve train unnecessarily.

it all comes down to your individual build, but like leonard said if your not going racing formula 1,then there should be a wealth of info out there to just giving u some specs to just eliminate any valve problems once u spec the motor.

I would do it.

do it and turn the boost up to negate the effort needed to lift them.
win win?

yeah might do it in case i end up dropping a set of ITR cams.. maybe shouldn't have sold the other set
