mine is manual. i can hear the engine goes louder at 5500 rpm but the rev's just goes up like normal. normally wen i hit vtec it revs up fkn quick but now its like i have no vtec but i can hear it after 5500rpm's. wat is a vtec soloenoid? how do i change it?

thats what the solenoid looks like. check that the green wire connected to the solenvoid isnt loose or come off

generally if vtec hits but it not as hard generally is oil pressure problems. check that you have enough oil, then check oil pressure.
