Hi everyone, not sure which headers to get for my Ep3. I wanna know what headers people are running on there K20s. any feedback or opinions would be great, i was leaning towards R crew headers/ DC sports/ Kiddracing. Or if anyone knows anything better than these, feel free to share it.

Kind regards
D

If your not planning to mod your engine, toda or buddy club. Having said that, theres not that much to be gained from ep3 when headers are fitted.

Stock headers on the EP3 is very good. Better spending money on a set of mild cams IMO!

Hey, thanks for the bolts worked a treat, also what cams do u think i should be looking at getting? I was looking up buddyclub ones but not sure which ones to get, theres all these specs and this and that.

Would u think that cams are exp to install? Do i need to get it altogether like valve springs, retainers n cam gears? or just the cams?

I was planning on getting bc headers, as well as fujits zorst or bcspec2

Theres a general gain of 2-3kwatw with EP3's. Gains are'nt as good as DC5's (where most people would complare) due to the stock design.

Cams, I am a believer of toda, when it comes to internal parts...eg cams etc....

Stick with stage 1 or 2's and you wont have to run retainers or springs, afaik no cams gears needed.

Gains in the mid range are very good! better kw per $.

Anyway, these are just my opinions!

the DC5 R we are talking mostly are he ADM DC5 R is has down grade headers compare to Godly JDM version.

So the ADM DC5 R has better power gain than the JDM EP3 R with headers like ToDa, Buddy, Mugen!!!

Yes, AUDM DC5 have higher gains with aftermarket neaders due to their inefficient 4-1 header design. Where the EP3 already have a better flowing 4-2-1 the gains just arent there.....unless you get specific made ones like SSR and the likes :)

sweet, so its best if i keep them stock? I might just get my ecu first
and keep the headers stock for now

I swapped mine back from toda to stock and lost about 2-3kwatw. Not alot in the scheme of things!

Considering you get over 10kwatw easily with an ecu and cat back :)
