Hi guys,
as title
i'm going for 16's (16x7)for my EJ8, though i have no idea what tyre size to go to. can i get recommendations as i'm sure many of you have upgraded

car will be used mainly for street driving, so would probably like to replicate the rolling diametre of stock.

thinking of KU36 tyre, too \ other recommendations? pictures may help (if u got them)

thanks :honda:

Super standard sizes would be 205/50/16 or 205/45/16.

To be legal you will have to get a wheel/tyre combo with same rolling diamter as your stock one..
Here is a good calc:

Hope that helps (:

thanks guys. will go for a 205/45 or /50.

as for the rims i'm trying to source a good deal- too much choice atm:p
Work emotion replica would be nice (but only in 15'') and cant find them
or Buddyclub P1 (bad economic condition makes them pricey nowadays)

go a 40 profile. you wont regret it. i didnt. loved it. thinner spec for the win! allows you to slam harder too!! if your a softy then by all means go thicker profile.
i had kuhmo ku25 AST? 205/40r16 for 16x7 +40.. speedo will be plus 3km's/hour off..
your choice in teh end.

205? i believe is to narrow for a 16", kinda pointless might as well get a lighter weight 15" with 205 on em.

when i get 16's, ill be looking at 225/45 is nice n wide. ive been using kumho ecsta 205 on my 15's, great for the road and worked wonders for me on the track.

225 is fat ass for a 7 inch wide wheel man, not need for that, i will look like a balloon.

195, 205, 215 is the range i would stick too on a 7inch depending on the look you want or the tire and grip etc.
