just wondering what is a engine rebuild? why an engine needs rebuild? Planning to buy a Ek4 with engine rebuild, but not sure whether worth to buy it or not and whether can go through the rta or not if i buy it.

engine rebuild is when they rebuild the whole engine, with new parts, new seals, bearings, o- rings and so on, machining the head, cleaning, new pistons and so on,,,, it needs a rebuild somewhere in between the life of an engine depending on it's condition, does the ek4 need a rebuild or has the rebuild been done?
