Roughly how much does it cost to rebuild a jdm b18c. As in recondition it internally to near new again?

2-5 grand.
Depending on what is needed.
Wheter you want performance internals. Or OEM internals.
Also depends whether parts can be shaved, bored, machined, or replaced.
IMO. If you can afford a rebuild. Spend the extra dosh on building either a high comp motor or a turbo ready motor.
Worth while. If youre not willing to spend the money for a turbo. A higher compression + forged internals cant do no harm. Or just forged internals would do =]

parts cost around 1600 for Fully forged turbo setup ready for 24psi. Build costs around 800 for labour if the motor is out of the car.
How many k's has the motor done and is it still running? might only need a hone not a resleave.
And if the engine is still in the car its going to cost roughly 500 for removal and 500 for reinstall and minor service.
So your looking at 3-4g with the motor in the car or 2-3g with it out of the car.
