I find my euro has very strong exhaust gas smell after I drive into my garage everytime. But I could not see black or dark smoke come out from exhaust pipe.

Could you give me some ideas? is it normal? I guess maybe the filters problem, right?

The car is still under cover by factury 5ys warranty.

you problem is that you are driving in your garage
as you said so it gets trapped in there
do you reverse in and let the exhaust fumes in your shed ?

does it do it out side the shed ?

I always use shell 95 unleaded. Do u think the problem is caused by poor quality of petrol (shell 95 unleaded)?

As crapdaz said shell petrol seem to smell more than others.try BP Ultimate,Mobil 8000 or Vortex 95 or 98 and you'll find the smell will be reduced.Shell fuel.:thumbdwn:

he said he's using shell 95 though, so I'm not sure he wants to go to 98 octane.

in my experience I have had no problems with smell when it comes to using shell v-power.

Not speaking from personal experience but like i said i've been told from sources who i believe to be reputable that it's not the best fuel out there.

There was a documented independent test on all the fuels done a while back which i read on the wrx forums, and shell did extremely poorly. BP ultimate and mobil 8000 came out on top.

do you remember what the criteria was or how they compared the fuels?
Mobil definately isn't an option for me, there are hardly any around these days.

supposedly caltex bought out Mobil.... is this true?
hahah yeh Mobil is hard to come about but good on fuel consumption and better than caltex and shell.
