Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy a 91 eg SI, the car has a 1.6efi motor in it which i beleive after reading a stickied thread is correct. But my question is: It has the same looking engine in it as the older civics but just in efi form. Is this correct? & reading through specs it says the engine is 96kw is this correct?
This is a picture of the engine. Are the Eg SI models a good car?

Thanks in advance

Your car is a 1992-1993 EG5 Si.
Engine = D16a8 , 96kw 140NM

Its a 1.6 twincam engine.

The older civics with that engine were also EFI, but they're OBD-0, unlike the one in the picture (Note the map sensor on the throttle body, and no knock sensor on the exhaust cam). The single cam version where twin carb.
