Has anyone got or seen H11 LED globes used as fog lights on a euro? I found one with 68 LED's on it and the brightness looks pretty decent, I'm thinking of getting these instead of a HID kit. A lot cheaper and might still look just as good. What you guys think?

I've heard LED's don't fair too well with the Euro's fluctuations in voltage e.g. LED parkers dying very quickly. I suppose you don't (or shouldn't) have the fog lights on too often to be of concern, but I'd hate to blow $50 lights often =/

Try www.superbrightleds.com

I got my day time running lights from there, it was only a single led h11, but they've also got a 9 led on as well.

I think 60 something leds is bit overkill hahah

Check the measurements of the ebay one, it might not fit

If I were you, i'd just go for normal halogen. A color thats a bit more yellow, so it doesn't disperse as much... With the LED bulbs, you don't really get any beam throw on the floor. They end up being sort of over exaggerated parker lamps imo

Hi All,

While we're on the topic of fog lights, can anyone recommend a globe that matches the color temp. of stock HID's ('05 Lux).

I find the stock fog light globes look yellow/orange compared to the stock HID's.

Thanks,
Steve

Philips have a lamp that will get pretty close. I think the colour temp is 4200K.
Autobarn stock the entire Philips range.

The ppl at autobahn near me actually tried each different H11 philips bulb they had in stock and none of them were really close to the HID, they all still had that dull look. I think LED H11 or HID's are the go for the fogs.

i've got mtec H11 halogen bulbs.. trader: liquidsound is selling them for $36 express posted..

they're not an exact match to my 6000k HID's, but they're good enough.. much better than stock yellow.
