dc2r door fit onto a dc2 vti-r integra

hey guys, i was just wondering if an dc2r door would fit onto a dc2 vti-r integra i know might be silly question but yeah, and also the looms if they are the same or different..

well my dc2 door handle hinges are gone i wanna get them fixed but apprently ive been quoted 500 at the panel beaters... ive got all teh stuff but i really dont know he told me its better just to replace the door so yeah :( not sure, thanks for your help btw

thats pretty expensive, i would sugest changind the doors too in that case, dc2r doors are the same thing only they dont have those ugly side moulds so that might be a problem unless u can take off the rest n shave it

Have you ever considered that the dc2r doors doesnt have door moulds.
So itll be awkward having little moulds in the quarter panels and no moulds on the door.

And plus wreckers and/or honda fanatics will jack the price of the door just cause its a type R door.

yeah i would buy a vti-r door but i got quoted 750 in melbourne =.=.. sux bad i found a door that wasnt that exy thats why i asked

just another question about the door sorry about this but i was wondering if it matters by years aswell or its just all the same for e.g. 98 type r door fit onto a 94 vti-r. thanks

The integra chassis did not change. From 94-01.

So, yes. 94 door will fit on a 2001 car. And vice versa.
Only concern is that 96 and above (i think 97 for integras) OBD2 came into play.
And the wiring might be different.
So the connectors on the doors can be different.

hey, not to forget about your colour. if your vti-r is white, most likely it's frost white. DC2R are usually championship white. Hence, you might expect colour difference between your door and the rest. Unless you r gonna get it resprayed, else beware.
