hey guys, ive been running a set of HID's out of my stock headlights on my EG, which has both the hi and low in one bulb

im now thinking of using on those projector type aftermarket headlights, because the HID beam pattern is pretty average out of the stock reflectors.

like so:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93-95-CIVIC-COUPE-CHROME-PROJECTOR-HALO-HEADLIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c6 6Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1171Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q 7c293Q3a3Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQha shZitem5d24e80981QQitemZ400051145089QQptZMotorsQ5f CarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

my question is that if the new headlight has 2 sides, one for low, one for hi, obviously i need to change something in my HID system to cover both now. but do i need to get a whole new kit, or is it just a matter of getting an extra cable somewhere.

any ideas or experiences?

thanks!

new kit, or 2 if you want one for high and one for low beam, since those headlights use seperate bulbs for hi/lo, i just got one in my low beam, and halogen bulbs in the high beam, which i hardly use

Bear in mind headlights for USDM will be angled for LHD and you will need to adjust them to suit RHD.

yeh thats cool, i read a guide on how to open them up and change the slant of the block.

does anyone have any experiences with changing from reflectors to projectors, ive been trying to find before after pics to no avail..

my reflectors were heaps brighter than the projectors, but only because the beam was so scattered, still no problems with the police or other oncoming cars
